A living room or family room is where so many families, like ours, can connect and bond. Whether it is watching a movie or playing a board game, a living space should include comfortable furniture that can withstand the stain of a snack or drink spill. I tend to splurge on high quality pieces with performance fabrics that are family friendly and can easily be cleaned when needed. This will allow years of family bonding without replacement of furniture. If / when you get bored? Switch out your rug or throw pillows instead of a sofa or accent chairs.
